I also love the mindless devotion of the fans to this bitch who couldn't care less about them. I have had a story going around in my head for a while featuring another insatiable bitch and a bunch of equally devoted fans - looks like great minds think alike. I can't wait for the final part - you are a legend!!
As for whether there will be more in the same vein as this, well...as you'll see in the next part, it would be almost impossible to surpass Ishtar Sally in filthy, cruel bitchiness...but, I do love trying to top myself in how far I take something, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a future character making Ms. Sally seem like a calm, grateful young woman capable of great restraint and self-control. Depends if I can come up with a fun enough angle to support that level of villainy.
My gallery will mostly have relatively sweet-natured ladies in the meantime, but I can promise that, while a sequel to Ishtar Sally would be difficult (again, you'll see why in the final part), I will do little Ishtar Sally companion pieces every once in awhile, set at earlier, various points, showing more of her distinct way of life (FUN FACT: The Heavy Dancer picture was originally drawn as part of this sequence, showing how Sally was changing the standard of beauty, her fans gaining weight to be like her. Then I realized that, visually, it was more arresting for her fans to be thin little insects compared to her, and narratively, Sally would just be pissed that anyone else would gorge on food that should go to her)
And should you choose to develop your own idea for a despicable but awesome glutton, I'd love to see the results.
I'm quite honored that my ridiculous characters have been an inspiration for this marvelous series.
I'd like to thank the both of you for being such big fans of my work. It really makes it all worthwhile.
