Another fun, straightforward FMG commission, in very much the same vein as 'Health Food', this one starring Yukari and Fuuka from Persona 3!

Nice.

BTW, the project I was talking about... I plan on taking a break from EBW after chapter 13 goes up (chapter 11 goes up tomorrow), so maybe in a few weeks we can talk about it?

Wow ... You indeed go very far.

Pretty tricky to fit-in all the muscle, don't ya think ? It's always easier to stay in the "normal" stages (like taking a real-life bodybuilder as a model).

I really have trouble going that far without a model. Hell, I've got trouble to go anywhere without a model. :dohtwo:.

Respect ! :clap:

Fitting on all the muscle can definitely be a challenge! In my little "Artist's Comments" for another recent pic, Army Muscles, I actually went on a bit of a rant on the logistics of it...sometimes, like in this one, I kind of cheat by elongating limbs, which helps out, and doesn't look TOO out of place amongst all the HUGE, but I think puzzling out a way to handle enormous muscle mass without resorting to that is on my "muscle-drawing" To-Do List.

So far as models go, even though I'm sure the results are atrociously inaccurate even by the standards of warped anatomy, I usually just wing it without reference material and hope for the best. Except for the back picture in this! Most muscles I can handle, but those ever-treachorous back muscles give me trouble! So, Fuuka's back in Panel 4 is borrowed, though SLIGHTLY (ahem) enhanced.

And by the way, your usage of reference material definitely pays off in yours; your wonderful shading and higher amount of realism shine, while my cartoonier and crazier approach are at their own best when I just kind of let myself go wild and allow the picture to go wherever it feels best.

Anyway, having ranted yet again, I shall stop, and simply finish off with "thanks for the comment"!

:XD:

Man, I just love your rantings. Can't help but smile. :)

Anyway : a little thing about my shading style. Well, in fact, I call it "cheating". I'm just not able to trace a pure line (like for most comic artists I've seen). I just hide the lines the best I can, behind all than marmelade-pencil-shading. Yes, MARMELADE. Like when you put it on a piece of bread. The closest word is french : "tartiner" ^^;

Aaaand : I gues you are more or less welcome for the comment. :shrug: Since I ranted too ... :blush:
