Personally I pictured this taken place after the movie with Elsa having run away the following winter to escape the stress of being a queen leaving Arandelle in a drought due her powers being under control and the kingdom already going through a mysteriously hot winter. So Elsa began gorging on ice cream to cope with the stress and ended up like this barney-nedward.deviantart.com/… while Anna who had fattened up on chocolate and other goodies had to track her down and get her to make it snow again.
